JOB TITLE: DEPUTY MANAGER (RGN/RMN)

Location: Liverpool
Salary: £23.00-£25.50 per hour / £57,508-£63,648 per annum
Hours: 48 hours per week (2 days on the floor, 2 days supernumerary)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid NMC PIN (Registered Nurse – RGN or RMN).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a care home setting, preferably in a senior role.
• Strong clinical knowledge and up-to-date nursing practices.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Lead to join our dedicated team at a well-established nursing home in Liverpool. This is a key leadership position, responsible for supporting the Home Manager in delivering exceptional clinical care and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and best practice standards.
The role involves a combination of hands-on clinical work (3 days per week) and protected supernumerary time (1 day per week) to focus on leadership, audits, staff development, and care planning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the clinical team to deliver outstanding, person-centred care.
• Support with the development and implementation of individualised care plans.
• Oversee medication management and clinical risk assessments.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with CQC standards and other regulatory bodies.
• Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to nursing and care staff.
• Participate in staff training, development, and performance reviews.
• Assist the Home Manager with audits, safeguarding, and care governance.
