We are searching for a Clinical Dietitian – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will provide nutritional assessment of pediatric patients, care plan development, and management of needs across the patient care continuum as well as provide education and special project support to the clinical nutrition staff and department. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required Master’s degree preferred LD, RD, and RD-AP, RDN-AP or CDCES, CCTD, CEDRD, CHES, CNSC, CSO, CSOWM BC, CSPCC, CSR, CSSD, or IBCLC 4 Years Experience in the nutrition field 2 years pediatric nutrition experience preferred Responsibilities: Provides nutritional assessment and ongoing development of appropriate plan of care Provides staff, patient, and community education Communicates with other healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition principles that enhance patient outcomes Participates in, interprets, and uses research to enhance clinical practice Documents nutrition care effectively within the medical record Assumes additional responsibilities for clinical program oversight that promote departmental initiatives Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands is north Houston’s first true, free-standing pediatric hospital designed, equipped and staffed exclusively to provide care in more than 25 areas of specialty care for children and adolescents.
