Job Details Job Location: Hope Street - Providence, RI 02904 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: Graduate Degree Salary Range: $84,342.00 - $104,869.00 Salary Travel Percentage: Up to 25% Job Shift: Any ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsible for developing and overseeing trauma-focused clinical programming for victims of mass violence including resiliency activities, support groups, and clinical services. Provides direct clinical services as needed to support victims. Provides trauma-focused clinical supervision to clinical staff and victim navigators. Works collaboratively with community providers to support victims in their recovery through coordination of care and partnership. Provides leadership, consultation, and support to providers and the community around evidence-based early intervention and long-term trauma responses and treatments. SPECIFIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for developing and overseeing trauma-focused, evidence-based clinical programming and victim services for clients. Works in collaboration with leadership to secure training for clinical staff in trauma-focused, evidence-based treatments. Plans and implements resiliency activities and support groups for clients. Provides regular trauma-informed supervision to assigned staff; provide overall support and guidance to staff. Works collaboratively with community providers to support victims in their recovery through coordination of care and partnership. Provides leadership, consultation, and support to providers and the community around evidence-based early intervention and long-term trauma responses and treatments. Provides on-scene crisis response when necessary to support the community. Recruit and hire qualified staff to provide high-quality trauma-focused services to clients Works collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure client’s needs are being met. Contribute to the development of policies, procedures and best practices for effective program implementation. Provide emergency crisis intervention services with, and on behalf of, clients and families on a rotating schedule and as needed to assess risk and ensure safety of clients and others. Perform crisis assessments and diagnostic assessments when needed and develop treatment plans for clients. Carry a small clinical caseload where appropriate. To serve as a positive role model for colleagues and clients as evidenced by compliance with agency policy and procedure, compliance with BHDDH and COA regulations, and demonstrating professionalism in all settings as a representative of the agency Through administrative and clinical chart audits, ensure that staff maintain professional and accurate documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcome evaluative tools, and provide education in these areas as needed Complete administrative documentation (time sheets, progress notes, PQI, other reports, etc.) in a timely manner Participate in the performance evaluation process of assigned employees Attend necessary trainings to maintain licensure; provide training to staff on different topics to ensure staff professional development, including through e-learning and face to face trainings Participation in clinical and administrative supervision as required Serve as a liaison with funders and stakeholders in relation to programmatic needs Participates in the Agency’s leadership team and subcommittees as scheduled Build and maintain positive, working relationships with community organizations and providers and develop new referral sources Supervise assigned staff member’s productivity levels, time sheets, work quality, and ability to meet timelines which ensures that staff understand the requirements of their positions Complies with FSRI policies, including those relating to HIPAA, 42 CFR and CCBHC Proficient in using an electronic health record as well as project-specific software Attend and participate in all required program and agency trainings Approaches all work through a trauma and diversity and inclusion lens Participates in the Agency’s on-call emergency services provision as scheduled including but not limited to after hours, holidays and weekends at minimum once per quarter Performs additional responsibilities consistent with Agency needs, defined in consultation with supervisor(s) QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage/family, etc.) required Required to be independently licensed in Rhode Island as a Social Worker, Therapist or Mental Health Counselor Experience providing trauma-focused, evidence-based treatment in a behavioral health setting and a minimum of 2 years prior clinical supervisory experience required Experience providing crisis intervention and/or Psychological First Aid strongly preferred Ability to multi-task and provide leadership to clinical supervisors and multi-disciplinary team members High level of administrative skills required Skilled in operating various medical record software and hardware, word-processing, and database software programs Spanish Speaking preferred and is compensated Flexible schedule with some evenings Excellent multitasking and communication skills a must Ability to work independently and part of a team PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position requires community visits, employees in this position must have the ability to: Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, registration and auto insurance Ability to communicate effectively Travel to and from clients’ residence, community locations and office site, which could include using walkways, stairs and/or elevators Ability to lift up to 20lbs Must be able to work remotely and in person adhering to PHI requirements Don’t meet every single requirement?
