POSITION SUMMARY The Clinical Director is accountable for the day-to-day functioning of their designated clinical and / or treatment program (center and community based), as well as providing direct services as necessary including, but not limited to supervising IBHS program staff and ensuring that services are provided according to best practice standards that promote client recovery. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Fosters relationships of mutual respect with colleagues and vendors when working together that is professional, aligned with Paragon’s mission, vision, and culture • Conduct supervision with Board Certified Behavior Analysts and Behavior Consultants, clinical reviews, and sign off on documents (accurately and timely) including but not limited to assessments, treatment plans, notes, and discharge summaries. • Accountable for evaluating program effectiveness, developing annual program plan, interviews, assigning employees to cases, training, and providing back-up supervisory assistance as guided by the company CEO. • Conduct personnel disciplinary actions, as necessary, consistent with agency personnel policy. • Conduct regular program staff meetings to meet administrative needs • Coordinate with families if insurance cannot be verified to best assist in transfer of services or advocate/navigate resuming services • Develop formal proposals to meet developing and ongoing program needs • Ensure all program services are compliant with recovery and cultural competency principles • Communicates with the Billing Department, as needed, to resolve billing problems that require program intervention • Complete initial and annual Individualized Training Plans for employees • Report incidents through the incident management system in a timely and effective manner • File all IBHS supervisor logs in employee supervision folder • Provide crisis assessment and support for direct service staff, as necessary • Accountable and responsible for overseeing the clinical supervisor and administrative director.
