Job Description Job Summary The Clinical Education Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating clinical education programs that support the professional development and competency of healthcare staff. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, fosters continuous learning, and collaborates with leadership to align education initiatives with organizational goals. Responsibilities Program Development & Implementation Design and deliver orientation, onboarding, and continuing education programs for clinical staff. Assess learning needs and tailor educational content accordingly. Develop curricula based on adult learning principles and evidence-based practices. Compliance & Quality Ensure all training programs meet accreditation and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate education records and documentation. Collaboration & Leadership Partner with department leaders to identify training needs. Mentor and support clinical educators and preceptors. Coordinate clinical rotations and maintain relationships with external training sites. Service as the LMS organizer Participate in organizational committee such as Peer Review and OIC. Evaluation & Continuous Improvement Monitor program effectiveness through metrics and feedback. Stay current with clinical best practices, technologies, and educational trends. Shared Governance & AHA Training Center Management Lead and facilitate shared governance initiatives to promote collaborative decision-making. Manage and oversee the American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center, ensuring compliance with AHA standards and guidelines. Oversight & Collaboration Oversee clinical educators across departments to ensure consistency and quality of education. Collaborate with and provide support to inpatient nursing clinical educators to align educational initiatives with organizational goals. Needed Skills Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning management systems. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare-related field required; Master’s preferred. Minimum 3 years in clinical education or healthcare leadership. Experience in curriculum development and staff training. Current RN or RRT license required. Current BLS and ACLS certification required. Preferred BLS and ACLS Instructor certification preferred.
