Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Educator to work across our Adult, Māori, Pacific and Older Adult Mental Health Services. This role is one of a group of experienced educators and coaches in our services who together to deliver a whole programme of education. This role will provide an opportunity for you to apply your skills in working collaboratively with others to plan, develop, deliver and coordinate learning opportunities, as well as evaluating and administering the education programme. This role also involves some workforce development planning, working with clinical leaders to identify where our workforce capability and competence can be strengthened through education initiatives. You will report to the Operations Manager, Takanga a Fohe Pacific mental health and addictions services.

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant health field
  • Recent mental health clinical experience (within the last 6 months)
  • More than five years health sector experience
  • A current APC and registration

  • Experience working with cultural and diverse team
