Reporting directly to the Director, ICU & Critical Care Redevelopment Program, the Clinical Educator role functions as a practitioner, consultant, educator and facilitator for all team members and management within the Respiratory Therapy Department. The Clinical Educator role will focus on supporting a centralized Respiratory Therapy team that cares for patients across the life span. Key to this role is the identification of staff learning needs followed by the development and delivery of education as well as evaluation of employee and program performance. Apart from program specific responsibilities, the Clinical Educator provides consultation and support throughout the hospital, and participates in hospital-wide educational initiatives, working groups, and committees, as required. This role requires a transformational leader who is passionate about coaching teams and creating an environment of curiosity, creativity and continuous learning.
