CLINICAL EDUCATOR/ INFECTION PREVENTIONIST (RN)

We are seeking an excellant RN (Registered Nurse) to be our Clinical Educator (CE)/ Infection Preventionist (IP) in our skilled nursing facility located in the Alachua County area.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR CLINICAL EDUCATOR (CE) / INFECTION PREVENTIONIST (IP):

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Clinical Educator or Infection Preventionist in a Skilled Nursing Facility
• Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations

LICENSING REQUIREMENTS FOR CLINICAL EDUCATOR (CE) / INFECTION PREVENTIONIST (IP):

• Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current CPR certification

• Conduct thorough patient observations to identify infection risks and implement appropriate prevention strategies.
• Manage and analyze data related to infection control, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and enforce infection prevention protocols.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of infection control measures.
• Provide education to staff and patients on infection prevention practices and procedures.
• Lead initiatives to improve infection control practices within the healthcare facility.
