Description
The incumbent serves as the Clinical Electronic Health Record Specialist. The incumbent will partner with the CRS leadership team to provide supports through initiation, outcomes and evaluation of electronic health record strategic initiatives. Responsibilities: Collaborate with RI senior leadership, the UPMC eRecord team and APTA to support the implementation of the APTA Outcomes Registry Provide consultation and support to generate reports and data from the electronic health record Provide consultation and support for electronic health record optimizations and new build Collaborate with RI leadership and appropriate UPMC service lines to coordinate collection of outcome data that is consistent with system initiatives Participate in system initiatives and perform related duties as assigned by the CEO and COO Communicates progress towards established goals of all assigned projects to CRS senior leadership Collaborate with RI senior leadership and appropriate UPMC service lines to support the development and implementation of internal registry systems Collaborate with RI senior leadership and UPMC clinical analytics to support the development and implementation of clinical dashboards and performance metrics Graduate of an accredited program within respective discipline. Must have an advanced clinical degree in physical therapy. Must possess knowledge and skills required to provide quality customer service. Must be able to read, understand, analyze, and interpret medical record documents. Must be skilled in planning/organization, follow up/control, delegation, problem solving, self-development orientation, organizational behaviors/competencies, and stress tolerance. Must possess the ability to apply principles of logic and strategic thinking to a wide range of problems, and to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: Basic Life Support OR Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation Physical Therapist Direct Access Physical Therapist (DAPT) license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, preferred in outpatient settings.
