This is a contract role for a minimum of one year, perfect for a freelance professional or someone providing contract services looking for a significant and impactful engagement. Travel within the country is likely required to provide direct, on-site support to our clinical trial sites.
As a CEM, you’ll be a dedicated specialist, working 1:1 with sites both virtually and if required on-site to alleviate their recruitment burden and keep studies top of mind. Your expertise will directly lead to increased enrollment activity and expedited clinical trial participant recruitment on a global scale.

EXCELLENT VERBAL, LISTENING, AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and Microsoft Word/Google Docs
  • Self-motivated with a strong ability to meet deadlines
  • Reliable internet connection
  • Familiarity with Skype (or similar communication platforms)
Responsibilities

Your primary goal will be to boost patient recruitment for our clients’ clinical trials through tailored site optimization services. This includes:

  • Hands-on Recruitment & Retention Support: Provide personalized coaching and strategic guidance, adapting your approach to each site’s unique needs and location.
  • Community Outreach: Conduct in-person visits at sites or in the wider community (healthcare environments, patient-focused locations) to increase trial awareness among HCPs and non-HCPs, disseminate materials, and engage with stakeholders. This involves thorough market area research to prepare for impactful visits.
  • Site Optimization Calls: Offer telephone-based coaching to motivate sites, explore new recruitment strategies, address challenges, and gain a deeper understanding of their processes to mitigate barriers.
  • Identify & Implement Pathways: Assist sites in identifying patient pathways and distributing materials around their facilities and referral sources, including conducting chart reviews, organizing lunch and learns, and providing pre screening support.
  • Maintain Engagement & Momentum: Build strong relationships, keep sites motivated, and ensure ongoing engagement with recruitment efforts.
  • Problem Solving & Best Practices: Identify protocol challenges and opportunities, promote the effective use of recruitment and retention tools, improve site communication, and share best practices within our internal team.
  • Reporting: Ensure all call and follow-up reports are completed accurately and on time.
