Wage Compensation - Min: $35.99 Max: $52.99 Provide support in the training, implementation, and optimal utilization of Epic, integrated software, and healthcare technologies for all end users. The primary focus is to educate and support end users in utilizing the systems for all components of documentation and healthcare technologies. Requirements include 1st level support for both on-site phone and personal shoulder-to-shoulder assistance and may also include after-hours on-call. Responsible for collaboration with the HIS Analysts in the on-going training and support of end users, and coordination of end user training by conducting classroom-training sessions, developing educational strategies and creating learning support materials. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: User Support and Training In collaboration with the Connect Program Principal Trainers, leads and/or assists in the development, coordination and implementation of end user training. Conducts classroom training for clinicians on Epic, including all clinical applications and additional healthcare technologies. Supports clinicians during implementation of new up-grades/modules/functionality which may include one-to-one support to facilitate and promote adoption of all documentation components, healthcare technologies and equipment at unit/department level. Accountable for optimizing nurse adaptation and utilization of documentation within Epic. Collects feedback and facilitates communication between IS/IT and clinical users. Develops educational/training materials and utilization of aides. Collaborates with nursing and end users at department level to maximize understanding and proficiency of end user work. Epic Workflow & Design Problem-solving application issues and working through barriers to achieve results by collaborating effectively with end users and the IS project team. Identifies issues in system design, operational workflow, system implementation, and support. Participate in multidisciplinary groups to identify issues and facilitate problem solving. Support of Organizational and Team Goals Communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare delivery team, leadership, and the project implementation team. Demonstrates teamwork and system thinking in the execution of implementation, training, and system support plans. Utilizes clinical and/or business expertise in system support and obtains information regarding user needs. Provides positive interaction with and support to a broad range of clinical users. Communicates and collaborates effectively and constructively with IT Management and Hospital Management Participate in on-call rotations, providing after-hours support as needed. Additionally The employee supports the hospital mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures. Participates in required education for DNV programs as applicable to position (reference program education curriculum). Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications: Education Required: Highschool diploma or equivalent. Preferred: Associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare, Information Technology, or a related field. A combination of education, relevant certifications, and professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Licenses/ certifications/ registrations Required: None required. Preferred: Active RN, LPN, CMA or clinical license preferred Experience Required: Minimum of three years’ clinical experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. 40 Hours USD $35.59/Hr.
