Job Description Permanent Part Time - 40 Hours per fortnight Nambour Selangor Private Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Facilitator to work as part of our Education Team. This is a permanent part-time position (job share). The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and friendly team that will: Provide clinical direction support and guidance for clinical staff across the hospital, including students, graduates and novice nurses. This role will involve the student portfolio. Assist in the coordination and implementation of the student placement program, including the facilitation and supervision of students whilst on clinical placement and coordination of clinical placements. Act as a professional resource who plans, develops and co-ordinates the delivery of education courses/programs within the hospital. Ensures safe and effective clinical practice that follows best practice. Works collaboratively with the education team to help plan and deliver hospital wide education programs. Supervises staff compliance to annual mandatory training and completion of eLearning. Contributes to and participates in the education of all clinical staff by being involved in orientation, in servicing, clinical competence programs and quality improvement practices. Skills and Experience To succeed in this role, you will bring exceptional time management skills, be highly organised, flexible and adaptable. You will have a committed and proactive approach to professional development, demonstrated experience in mentoring clinical staff and be an exceptional and positive role model. You will also demonstrate: Nursing Registration with AHPRA – Registered Nurse A minimum of 3 years post registration experience in an acute hospital environment Understanding of methods of assisting and facilitating adult learning Previous experience in the area of clinical education/administration of student placements and/or teaching in nursing Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently where required Excellent time management and organisational skills Effective interpersonal and communication skills Proven track record of positive outcomes in relation to developing and supporting others Intermediate computer skills in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Completion of preceptorship program (or willingness to attain) Relevant qualifications in education or training (desirable) What’s in it for You?
