Description

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a dynamic and cohesive team. We are a high volume Robotic pelvic and upper tract cancer centre, with 250 procedures performed in 2018. We also have a high volume of upper tract benign work (endourology), including ultra-mini PCNL, a dedicated stone MDT, metabolic clinics and on-site ESWL. Working mainly at Bradford Royal Infirmary, there will be opportunity for a tailored job plan to take advantage of training opportunities in either robotic uro-oncology, upper tract/endo-urology, functional urology and general urology.

Responsibilities

Theatre sessions, outpatient clinics, diagnostic sessions and on call cover.
The successful candidate would be expected to contribute to the urology teaching programme.
Active involvement with clinical governance.
On call non-resident 24 hour midweek with post-take half day (1:6) and non-resident 48-hour weekend with post-take day off (1:6) (further zero days to be added to ensure EWTD and New contract terms and conditions compliant).
Audit, research and publication will be actively encouraged.
