POSITION REQUIRES A MASTER’S DEGREE IN SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY, ELIGIBILITY TO BEGIN THE CLINICAL FELLOWSHIP YEAR (CFY) UNDER ASHA SUPERVISION, AND ELIGIBLE FOR STATE LICENSURE AS A SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST.

A K-12 school in Allentown, PA, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for a contract position. This role offers the opportunity to support students communication development within a dynamic educational environment, focusing on a variety of speech and language disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for students across K-12 grade levels
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student performance
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate services and plan interventions
  • Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state certification or licensure as an SLP
  • Eligibility or current status as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders in children and adolescents
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
