POSITION REQUIRES A MASTER’S DEGREE IN SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY, ELIGIBILITY TO BEGIN THE CLINICAL FELLOWSHIP YEAR (CFY) UNDER ASHA SUPERVISION, AND ELIGIBLE FOR STATE LICENSURE AS A SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in an elementary school setting in Elgin, IL. This position is a contracted leave role starting on August 14, 2025, with an expected end date of December 19, 2025, and the possibility of extending for the full school year. The caseload will include 30-40 early childhood students.

Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois SLP Certification/License and Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
  • Experience working with early childhood age groups preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for early childhood students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school policies
  • Attend team meetings and participate in professional development activities

Position Details:

  • Full-time: 35-37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
  • Caseload of 30-40 students
  • Contract duration: August 14, 2025 December 19, 2025 (extension possible)
