SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Clinical Field Specialist will provide technical advice to customers on all aspects of our product portfolio including but not limited to customer training, education, clinical marketing support, identification of opportunities for sales through support of the sales force and implementation of marketing programs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Three years experience in healthcare industry required.
  • Experience working directly with clinicians require
  • Computer literacy required – proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of time required
Responsibilities
  • Responds to questions from customers regarding new or existing products
  • Assists in identifying and resolving problems associated with product use; communicates these issues to the appropriate personnel within the organization
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key opinion leaders and other influential decision makers at client accounts; provides input into strategic planning by identifying areas of opportunity and providing recommendations to management based upon findings
  • Works closely with Marketing Communications Department on development of promotional materials
  • Participates in clinical studies as requested by Marketing/Sales Management
  • Serves as a liaison between BD and clients, attending meetings and conferences as necessary
  • Facilitates communication between Sales Representatives and Marketing/Clinical Research and Development
  • Provides educational presentations to customers, both individually and in groups
  • Travels extensively throughout the country (approximately 75%)
