Responsibilities

As Clinical Governance Team Lead, you will:

  • Play a central role in supporting the delivery of our governance agenda, ensuring a focus on quality improvement, patient safety, and learning.
  • Lead and support your team, helping them grow through coaching, training, and regular reviews.
  • Work alongside clinical leads to make sure our services meet the highest standards and comply with national guidelines.
  • Oversee clinical audits, patient safety reviews, and risk management processes, ensuring that learning translates into meaningful improvements.
  • Contribute to the development of our Quality Governance Framework and support the evidence we provide to regulators like the CQC.
  • Champion an open, fair, and inclusive culture, where staff feel empowered to raise concerns and share ideas.
