Clinical Healthcare Support Worker, Band 3 (18 hours a week)
Band 3 Healthcare support worker in ENT outpatients.
As a Band 3 Healthcare support worker in ENT outpatients, you will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team, caring for patients and their relatives, and ensuring safe and effective practice is carried out. You will work alongside clinicians in clinics, as well as being responsible for the decontamination of equipment, and will be expected to adhere to the Trust’s infection control policies.
You will have the opportunity to partake in clinical activities under direct supervision of a registered Nurse, once you have received adequate training and have signed off any competencies. These include smells testing and assisting in locals/biopsy clinics. You will be expected to ensure the smooth running of our clinics and will be expected to escalate any concerns appropriately. You will be expected to work across both our outpatients’ departments, in Gloucestershire Royal and Cheltenham General.
Additional working pattern details: Monday - Friday
