Clinical Healthcare Support Worker, Band 3- Trauma and Orthopaedic Clinic (27 hours a week)
About the job
The successful candidate will be chaperoning patients in the elective orthopaedic and fracture clinics, and report directly to the trained nurses who will support you in your new post. The candidate will undertake specific delegated tasks, following the appropriate training competency level e.g patient observation, personal care, application of splints and braces, and arranging admission of patients to wards when required.

Across the both sites we have 28 Consultants who specialisms in hand, feet, shoulders, hips, spines and knees. We are friendly and professional team who work with a variety of other multi-disciplinary teams. We are always looking to improving our service, and have taken of several audits and studies surrounding patient centred care and patient information. We welcome new ideas, and staff’s innovations as well as training and developing our staff. There are opportunities to gain competencies in care of the cast and learn how to apply casts and splints.
Additional working pattern details: Scheduled to work 3 days a week
