Job Description
- Assumes clinical infection control role within the hospital facility.
- Reporting to the Senior Nursing Manager
- Acts as an Infection Control Coordinator between nursing units.
- Undertakes regular infection control audits and inspections.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in Infection Control Policies and Guidelines.
- Overall infection control standards between the client and Iqarus are met and maintained.
- Liaises with Clinical Governance team for nursing oversight
- Any other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Nursing Graduate, Fully Registered and currently licenced with no restriction to practice in country of origin.
- Formal training in infection control at certificate, diplomate or graduate level
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in facility infection control
- Ability to develop policies and procedures for infection control
- Ability to investigate, monitor and prevent the spread of infectious agents within a hospital setting.
- Fluency in English to CEFR Level C1 standard.
- Arabic language desirable but not essential.
Additional Information
This particular project is a COVID facility with various departments including wards, ICU, lab, emergency and radiology capability.
Contract is a 6 month contract with short notice availability. Working weeks are Sunday to Thursday. Flights are provided to Dubai if currently residing outside of the UAE. UAE visa and medical insurance are also provided.
