Analyzing and Interpreting Health Data: A core function involves extracting, analyzing, and interpreting health data to identify trends, improve care, and ensure patient safety.
Training Staff: They train healthcare personnel on the effective and secure use of information systems and new technologies.
Troubleshooting and Support: They address software and hardware issues to ensure smooth operation of clinical systems.
Communicating Findings and Recommendations: Clinical informaticists translate complex data findings and technical information for various stakeholders, including clinicians, administrators, and patients.
