JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

The Informatics Representative 1 is responsible for, but not limited to

  • Provides operational support and rounding, with oversight, to local team to provide customer support, education, implement clinical changes, coordinate and collaborate with local SME to plan, deliver, and evaluate changes related to the use of technology and data,

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in relevant field preferred
  • Certifications Epic Clinical Informatics Certification and HIMSS certifications preferred
  • Experience 3 plus years of relevant experience in the clinical setting with progressive leadership responsibilities preferre
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Activities include but are not limited to collaborating with customers and other IT team members to partner to define problems
  • Participates in the design, development, implementation, education, and evaluation technology in the clinical areas
  • In addition, they are responsible for advocacy, identification of issues, documentation, and escalation of issues
  • The clinical informatics specialist will work with individuals of other professions to maintain a climate of mutual respect and shared values
  • They will communicate with patients, families, communities, and professionals in health and other fields in a responsive and responsible manner that supports a team approach to the promotion and maintenance of health

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in relevant field preferred
