Remuneration: Salary $142,877.43 per annum (pro-rata) plus superannuation and a fortnightly RDO
Location: Werribee based with potential for a hybrid work arrangement. This role may be required to work across multiple locations throughout the Wyndham Municipality

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS TO PRACTICE AS A MCH NURSE IN VICTORIA, AS OUTLINED IN THE POSITION DESCRIPTION –

  • Current registration with AHPRA:
  • Registered Nurse (Division 1)
  • Registered Midwife, and;
    In addition to the above registrations, accredited postgraduate Diploma/Degree (or equivalent) in Child and Family Health Nursing.

At least five years’ experience in Maternal and Child Health nursing

  • Proven leadership skills and experience in developing high-performing teams and innovative service delivery
  • Strong background in change management, project delivery, and continuous improvement
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to gather and document business requirements from various stakeholders
  • Outstanding time management and organisational abilities to manage priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to resolve complex issues and collaborate effectively
  • An employee Working with Children Check
  • Experience in local government (desirable)

Join Wyndham City Council’s Maternal and Child Health team to provide critical operational and governance support.
In this pivotal role as Clinical Information and Compliance Support Officer, you’ll be at the heart of supporting the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) leadership team, ensuring the smooth running of operational and governance processes. You’ll take the lead on managing high-priority, time-sensitive requests, ensuring compliance tasks are met with precision, and that all documentation and communications align with legal and regulatory standards.
This is a hands-on role where your organisational skills, attention to detail, and understanding of governance will directly contribute to the effectiveness and compliance of the MCH program.
