How you make a difference:
The Clinical IT Product Owner (PO) plays a critical role in defining user requirements, creating user stories, and managing the product backlog for multiple clinical applications at Wellpath. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, the PO ensures that product features align with business needs and user expectations while maintaining technical and conceptual integrity. This position is key to driving product success, maximizing value, and ensuring high-quality solutions that improve outcomes for both users and the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represents clinical IT system users and manages stakeholder requirements
  • Works with the offshore Product Owner to define business requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Maintains a strong product backlog, prioritizes sprint work, and establishes release goals
  • Collaborates with UX teams to design user-friendly screens and workflows
  • Promotes process improvement, mentors stakeholders, and communicates product updates
