DESCRIPTION: Responsible for collecting blood from patients and donors, identifying and labeling all drawn blood accurately for tests, and/or blood donations.  Also responsible for accurately collecting and recording patient and donor information, monitoring patients through procedures, and storing samples as required.  This position requires knowledge in the care of patients served as indicated: Neonate and infant birth up to one year, Childhood and Adolescence is one year to 17 years, Adult is 18 to 65 years and Geriatric is 65 years and above. Physical Effort: Walking, bending, using stairs, working with bio-hazardous material, wearing of protective material as required by OSHA. Sat/Sun 1000-2200 (10am-10pm)
Responsibilities
