This is a full time position with night shifts, generally 2300-0730, at Scripps Green Hospital in Torrey Pines with rotating weekends and on call. Training will primarily be during day shifts for the first 3 or so months. Includes $4k retention incentive and $3k relocation for eligible new hires. Why join this team? The Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) will be joining the lab team at Scripps Green Hospital, one of our busiest sites for transfusion medicine. The team at Scripps Green Hospital is a close-knit, experienced team passionate about providing quality patient care. As part of the team at Scripps Green Hospital, the CLS would be exposed to cases related to hematology/oncology, urgent care and other rare cases with a patient population that is more clinic- and treatment-based. Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: Bachelor’s Degree or degree acceptable for California Laboratory Licensure New graduates are welcome to apply Required Certification/Registration: CDPH Licensure: MTA (Clinical Laboratory Scientist) Licensed to perform work in all areas of the Clinical Lab Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: One year equivalent full time in a clinical laboratory.
