This is a casual/per diem, non-benefited position with 8-hour, varied shifts, primarily weekends at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. Training will be up to full time hours, generally 630-1500, Monday through Friday, for the first 4-6 weeks. Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: Bachelor’s Degree or degree acceptable for California Laboratory Licensure Required Certification/Registration: CDPH Licensure: MTA (Clinical Laboratory Scientist) Licensed to perform work in all areas of the Clinical Lab Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: One year equivalent full time in a clinical laboratory.

Responsibilities

This casual/per diem role involves working varied shifts, primarily on weekends, at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, providing essential laboratory information for patient care. Initial training will involve full-time hours, generally from 6:30 to 15:00, Monday through Friday, for the first 4-6 weeks.
