Description Lead a High-Performing Laboratory Team Are you an experienced laboratory professional with a passion for leadership, quality, and operational excellence? We are seeking a Clinical Laboratory Manager to oversee daily laboratory operations, lead a team of dedicated professionals, and ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and high-quality patient testing services. About the Role The Clinical Laboratory Manager is responsible for managing laboratory operations, staff performance, regulatory compliance, quality assurance initiatives, and customer service. This leadership position plays a critical role in ensuring the laboratory meets all clinical, operational, and financial objectives while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of a high-volume clinical laboratory. Lead, develop, and mentor laboratory supervisors, technologists, technicians, and lab assistants. Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements. Monitor quality control, proficiency testing, and quality assurance programs. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices. Oversee staffing, scheduling, productivity, and performance management. Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and clients to ensure exceptional service. Manage laboratory budgets, inventory, and operational expenses. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality. Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of laboratory personnel. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biology, or related field required. ASCP certification required (MLS, MT, or equivalent). Minimum 5 years of clinical laboratory experience. Minimum 3 years of laboratory leadership or management experience preferred. Strong knowledge of laboratory regulations, quality systems, and accreditation standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience in high-volume reference laboratory operations is a plus.
