This role involves analyzing biological specimens such as blood, urine, and tissue using advanced laboratory equipment and techniques. The CLS ensures accuracy and reliability of test results by following strict quality control procedures and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include interpreting data, maintaining laboratory instruments, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with healthcare providers to deliver timely and precise results. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and adherence to safety protocols are essential Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related field. Completion of an accredited CLS or Medical Laboratory Scientist program. Certification Current certification as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) through ASCP or equivalent. State licensure. Experience 1–2 years of clinical laboratory experience. Familiarity and experience with laboratory equipment, automated analyzers, blood bank and diagnostic techniques.
