Location - Westley Court Care & Nursing Home, Austcliffe Lane, Cookley, Kidderminster, DY10 3RT
Salary - £47, 500 per annum, paid monthly
Hours - 42 Hours a week, 24 Hours Registered Nurse, 18 Hours Supernumerary

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and organised team player to join us as a Clinical Lead at Westley Court Care Home .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the Deputy to the Home Manager and Nurse in Charge, leading and supporting the nursing team during your shift.
  • To ensure both the Home and the Company nursing interests are met. Manage, guide, and train the nursing team, ensuring company and regulatory standards are met at all times.
  • Day to day tasks will include managing a team of professional nurses and senior careers, organising shifts and rotas, organising on-call cover, liaising with outside professional and relative’s families, keeping care plans and medical supplies updated as well as assisting the home manager with the general day to day running of the home
  • Organise shifts, rotas, and on-call cover for the team. Liaise with external professionals and families, ensuring clear communication and coordination. Update care plans and manage medical supplies.
  • Assist the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the home. Supervise and train nurses and care assistants, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered.
  • Ensure evidence-based nursing practices that reflect current trends and align with company policies.
  • Collaborate with the Unit Manager, Home Manager, and other trained nurses to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate high-quality nursing care.
  • To carry out such duties, including management of the unit or Care Home, as deemed necessary by the Home Manager in order to ensure the smooth running of the Home. About You You will be compassionate, resilient, and dedicated to delivering exceptional care in an energetic and dynamic environment.
  • Must hold the Registered Nursing Qualification relevant to the post. (NMC)
  • Be willing and able to carrying out any other necessary duties as agreed with Directions\Operations Team\Home Manager.
