  Clinical Lead – Early Psychosis Intervention & Transitional Youth Programs – MOD Team (Full-Time Contract)      The Role and Opportunity  CMHA Toronto is seeking a Clinical Lead to provide leadership and support to our Early Psychosis Intervention (EPI) and Transitional Youth (TYP) teams. This role is part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team and will be based at our Lawrence Avenue West location or a designated community partner site.  Our Early Psychosis Intervention program serves young adults aged 16–34 who have experienced a first episode of psychosis, along with their families. Services are provided within a Coordinated Specialty Care for Psychosis Model. The Transitional Youth program supports individuals aged 16–24 living with serious mental illness and their families. Both programs work closely to promote recovery, resiliency, and life skills development, helping young people stay on track with education and employment goals.      Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) [https://cmha.ca/] is the most established and extensive community mental health organization in Canada. Our services are delivered by a passionate and diverse team.  Join us in providing high quality mental health and addictions services, advocating for a better mental health system, and providing education and mental health supports to clients across Toronto.     Salary: $68,975 – $73,306  Work Hours: 35 per week  Contract End Date: May 31st, 2026   RESPONSIBILITIES  * Providing daily guidance, coaching and supervision to team members in collaboration with the Program Manager * Daily clinical guidance and support to team members in the absence of the Program Manager * Supporting the ongoing implementation, development and coordination of the Coordinated Specialty Care for Psychosis Model. * Working collaboratively with the Program Manager as an active participant in program development, implementation and evaluation, including staff performance evaluation. * Supporting consultation to internal/external stakeholders on all aspects of services to clients. * Continuously ensuring that the focus of our services achieves excellence both at a strategic and operational level.  * Having a collaborative, open and client-centered approach with clients, families, partners, community stakeholders. * Being proactive, taking initiative and identifying/implementing quality improvement opportunities. * Supporting program partnerships, including attending rounds and managing referrals and intake assessments. * Providing some administrative support to team members and Program Manager as required. * Providing direct service to clients and managing a caseload of Early Psychosis Intervention clients as required.   * Participating in Human Resource Management in collaboration with the Program Manager, including hiring, onboarding and orientation of new team members.  * Some evening work is required   SKILLS YOU BRING  * Education & Registration: Must be an allied health professional (Registered Nurse, Master Occupational Therapist or Master Social Worker) and registered with the appropriate college. * Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of mental health experience; community-based experience is a strong asset. * Leadership: Emerging leadership skills grounded in trauma-informed principles, with a demonstrated ability to mentor and support clinicians through a compassionate and empathic approach, fostering collaboration and client-centered care. * Clinical Expertise: Excellent skills in mental health assessment, teaching, case management, decision-making, and effective crisis intervention. * Specialized Care Delivery: Ability to learn and deliver care within a Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) model for psychosis, including supported employment and education supports. * Intervention Skills: Demonstrated ability to intervene effectively in clinical situations for youth and adults experiencing mental illness. * Equity & Inclusion: Ability to demonstrate a non-homophobic, anti-racist approach and work effectively with diverse communities. * Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, active listening, and relationship-building skills. * Language Skills: Fluency in a second language is considered an asset. * Adaptability & Continuous Learning: Commitment to ongoing professional development and integration of evidence-based practices. * Technology Proficiency: Experience with electronic health records and data literacy for program outcomes. * Access to a car and a valid driver’s license is required.    WHY CHOOSE CMHA TORONTO?   If you care about mental illness and mental health and you have the right skills, then CMHA Toronto may be the place for you.
