HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT Job Summary: As the Clinical Lead you will be responsible for daily staffing of the Southwood Clinic. Including frequent daily rounding in each of the pods to ensure proper coverage and workflow is running smoothly. Additional duties include: Addressing any issues with staff Managing applicant tracking system and interviewing for vacant positions Supply and pharmacy ordering and monthly reconciliation. Managing medication rooms and overseeing sample and controlled med logs. Orientation planning process and preceptorship for new colleagues Encounter tracking Addressing customer service concerns You may occasionally be expected to assist in providing nursing care; help maintain the functions of a medical practice; provide direct patient care by doing lab work and venipuncture; readying patients for exams; assisting providers with exams and procedures and administering injections and treatments as orders. Coordinating patient calls/walk-ins in emergent situations. Assist in other functions of the medical practice as needed. Reports: Practice Manager Supervises: Clinical Staff WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY Required Education:Minimum: High School diploma or GED. Required Experience:Minimum: One to two years of supervisory experience and two or more years of patient care, giving injections, working labs, etc. in an outpatient setting. Required Certification/License/Registry:Minimum: Medical Assistant Certification. Preferred: Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
