JOB OVERVIEW

The Clinical Lead plays a pivotal role in overseeing resident’s care and ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice within Moss Cottage. Moss Cottage is a 34 bed nursing home located in Ashton-under-Lyne, OL7. This position requires a dedicated professional who can lead by example, mentor junior staff, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. The Clinical Lead will be responsible for coordinating resident care activities, managing nursing staff, and promoting a culture of excellence in patient outcomes.

  • Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure effective delivery of resident’s care.

  • Conduct regular assessments of patient care plans and adjust as necessary to meet individual needs.
  • Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering professional development and growth.
  • Collaborate with GP’S and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive resident care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall enhancement of clinical services.
  • Address any concerns or issues raised by patients or their families promptly and professionally.
