Description

We are currently recruiting a Female Clinical Lead Nurse to provide direct care and support across North Yorkshire to adults and children with care & support needs.
This is a Hybrid role, working at our Registered Office based in Thirsk 1 or 2 days per week, working from home and in the field providing training to our personal assistants, and providing hands on support to our staff teams when needed. The support you and your team provide will be predominantly in people’s own homes and the local community.
The role requires you to be a car driver with access to your own vehicle.
Alternative weekend working is involved in this role
As one of the Clinical Lead Nurses you will work to provide effective clinical support to the staff team to achieve and maintain the delivery of high-quality care and support to people. You will develop productive relationships with the people we support, their families and other key health and social care professionals in their circle of support to ensure people receive the clinical support they need to enable them to live the life of their choosing.
You will ensure effective clinical governance across the service. You will support the Registered Manager in ensuring staff are confident and competent in their support roles, working within the regulations and best practice guidelines, to well written and clear care plans.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid NMC PIN and minimum 2 years post qualification experience
  • Proven experience as a Clinical Lead Nurse or similar role
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Strong clinical skills, including medication administration and patient care
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise responsibilities
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
