JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing patient care, ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice, and leading a team of nursing staff. This position requires a strong commitment to patient welfare, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage clinical operations efficiently. Flexibility is required, as this role may involve occasional weekend and overnight shifts.

EXPERIENCE

• A valid nursing qualification with relevant registration is essential.
• Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to inform patient assessments and care strategies.
• Demonstrated ability in medication administration with an understanding of pharmacology.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

• Supervise and support nursing staff in delivering exceptional patient care.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health status and document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised care plans.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior nurses and nursing students.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as organisational policies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in nursing and healthcare trends.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff on medication administration and patient care techniques.
