  • Act as the clinical expert for elderly care, overseeing complex care needs and medication rounds.
  • Mentor, support, and develop Staff Nurses and care staff, promoting best practice and continuous improvement.
  • Work without supervision, using your initiative to manage clinical situations and make informed decisions.

    Essential Requirements:

  • Valid NMC Pin as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).

  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a Clinical Lead, Senior Staff Nurse, or Deputy Manager role within a nursing home.
  • Extensive and proven experience in elderly care within a care home setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and competence in managing complex medication rounds.
  • Proven ability to take shift charge, lead a team, and work autonomously without supervision.
  • Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and leadership skills.
  • A genuine passion for mentoring others and driving clinical excellence.

    Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in audit, quality assurance, and clinical governance.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ambitious to progress into a Deputy Manager or Home Manager role.

    Why Join Us?

  • Highly competitive salary of £26.00 - £26.50 per hour, recognising your clinical expertise and leadership.

  • A true Clinical Lead position with autonomy and the authority to shape clinical practice.
  • Clear and supported career progression path towards Clinical Deputy Manager, Deputy Manager, or Care Home Manager.
  • The opportunity to be the clinical expert in a supportive and well-established nursing home.
  • Full-time, permanent contract.
