To plan, co-ordinate, deliver and evaluate the physiotherapy service provided to patients requiring neurology related physiotherapy. To lead in the advanced assessment and treatment of patients presenting within the Neurology services, who may have complex, acute and /or chronic presentation; to provide a high standard of safe and effective care, to determine a clinical diagnosis and plan appropriate intervention, discharge plan and onward referral when required. Supervise, educate and appraise therapists, therapy assistants, therapy students, and other members of the multidisciplinary (MDT) team related to the clinical specialism. Undertake a lead role in the completion of clinical audit, quality improvement and clinical research
