Are you an ambitious Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) ready to step into a pivotal leadership role? Our outstanding nursing home in London W6 is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Lead to provide expert clinical guidance and leadership to our care team.
This is more than a Staff Nurse position; it is a key role where you will be the clinical expert on the floor, ensuring the highest standards of elderly care are delivered. You will work closely with the Home Manager and play a crucial part in the clinical governance of our home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong clinical leadership and supervision to the team of nurses and healthcare assistants.
  • Act as the clinical expert for elderly care, overseeing complex care needs and leading medication rounds.
  • Work without supervision during shifts, using your initiative to manage clinical situations and make informed decisions.
  • Mentor, support, and develop Staff Nurses and care staff, promoting best practice and continuous improvement.

    Essential Requirements:

  • Valid NMC Pin as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Clinical Lead, Senior Staff Nurse, or Deputy Manager role within a nursing home.
  • Extensive and proven experience in elderly care within a care home setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and competence in managing complex medication rounds.
  • Proven ability to work without supervision and lead a team.
  • Must be flexible and able to work a shift pattern that includes days, nights, and alternate weekends.
  • Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and leadership skills.

    Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in clinical audit and quality assurance.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
