Description

Department of Medicine and Therapeutics Closing Date: October 17, 2025 Applicant should have (i) a medical qualification (approved for full or limited registration with The Medical Council of Hong Kong); (ii) a PhD (or equivalent qualification) in a medical sciences or relevant field; (iii) experience and/or strong interest in gastroenterology or hepatology; (iv) and experience/track record in teaching and clinical and translational research. Duties include (a) teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students; (b) conducting clinical and translational research; (c) providing clinical services to inpatients and outpatients; and (d) other duties as assigned by the Department Chairman and the Division of Gastroenterology or Hepatology. The appointee will work at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin. Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to mutual agreement and satisfactory performance.

Responsibilities

The appointee will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, conducting clinical and translational research, and providing clinical services to inpatients and outpatients. Additional duties may be assigned by the Department Chairman and the Division of Gastroenterology or Hepatology.
