General Summary The Clinical Liaison provides specialized clinical expertise in disposable medical products sold exclusively to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The Clinical Expert will collaborate with both internal teams at Pisces Healthcare and VA healthcare professionals to ensure that our products meet the highest standards for patient care and clinical safety. This role involves staying current on VA regulations and requirements, advising on product selection, and supporting the training of staff. Responsibilities Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, and procurement) to ensure products align with VA-specific needs and clinical practices. Stay informed on the latest trends, guidelines, and regulations impacting medical supplies in the VA system, including product standards and safety protocols. Work closely with the VA and internal teams to address any concerns or feedback related to product performance and safety. Collaborate with our sales teams to refine existing products and provide clinical insights for the development of new disposable medical supplies tailored to VA healthcare needs. Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, VA-specific requirements, and industry standards for medical supplies. Work closely with our procurement team to optimize product availability, ensuring seamless order fulfillment and compliance with contracting requirements. Assist the marketing team in creating clinically accurate product messaging for brochures, presentations, and online content, reinforcing the benefits of our products for VA use. Help create and maintain product training modules for the sales team and conduct this training in person as and when needed. Research and recommend product alternatives when items are discontinued, out-of-stock, or under review Requirements Qualifications: Degree from an accredited school and licensed in a health-care related field Maintains a current license as Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Respiratory Therapy Minimum of two (2) years of Clinical experience required Minimum of two (2) years of experience in acute care or rehab preferred. Requires a professional level of knowledge in physician relations and interfacing with insurance companies. A strong background in medical supplies and healthcare Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Some travel may be required. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, Word Physical requirements This job may require extended periods of sitting and using computer peripherals.
