JOB SUMMARY

The Clinical Manager, under the direction of the Executive Director, is responsible for the organization, development, and management of Counselling Centre East Algoma’s programs and services, including cost management, personnel, materials, productivity and quality of work. The supervisor is expected to ensure that all clients are receiving the required care, and that all required policies and procedures are being followed in accordance with applicable legislation.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Post-Secondary Bachelors Degree in Health Care or a relevant field required, Masters Degree preferred
  • Registered healthcare professional including:
  • College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO), College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO), College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO), Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
  • 3-5 years’ Clinical Management, or similar experience
  • Demonstrated ability to courteously and respectfully assist clients, family members and the community with genuine care and concern while upholding and preserving their privacy
  • Excellent teamwork and team building skills
  • Sound leadership, staff management, and teambuilding skills
  • High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Politically and culturally sensitive
  • High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts
  • Strong morals and ethics, along with a commitment to staff privacy
Responsibilities

FINANCIAL DUTIES

· Assist with basic financial tracking and reporting
· Support payroll reconciliation and coordination with finance staff
· Monitor program budgets and contribute to cost-effective planning
