Directs the nursing care provided to patients on a nursing unit. Maintains standards of service excellence and nursing practice. Develops evidenced based policies, procedures, and work processes to ensure provision of quality patient care. Supervises, evaluates, guides and counsels nursing staff in their work performance. National certification in Nursing or Healthcare related specialty preferred.
