Description

MAKE A LIFE-CHANGING IMPACT

At Heal Care Group, we’re on a mission to transform residential childcare by embedding trauma-informed, therapeutic care into everything we do. We believe every child deserves stability, healing, and opportunity—and we’re looking for a Clinical Manager to help us raise the bar.

This is a unique opportunity to build and lead the clinical function within a growing, ambitious startup, working closely with the CEO and Director of Operations. If you’re passionate about direct therapeutic work, shaping a care philosophy, and driving real change in the lives of children, we’d love to hear from you.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS)

  • Recognized professional qualification in Psychotherapy, Psychology, Social Work, or Counselling (e.g., a degree in Counselling, Social Work, or Clinical Psychology).
  • Accredited or working towards accreditation with a professional body:
  • BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy)
  • UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy)
  • HCPC (Health & Care Professions Council) – Practitioner Psychologist
  • SWE (Social Work England) – Registered Social Worker with strong therapeutic experience
  • Experience delivering trauma-informed therapy (DDP, attachment-based interventions, PACE model).

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS (PREFERRED, BUT NOT ESSENTIAL)

  • HCPC-Registered Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychologist).
  • Fully Accredited Child Psychotherapist (UKCP/BACP/BPS/BABCP).
  • Formal training in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), EMDR, or other trauma-focused interventions.
  • Experience in a children’s residential setting or CAMHS.

OTHER KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working with children in care, trauma-experienced populations, or high-risk settings.
  • Strong training and supervision skills, with the ability to upskill care teams.
  • Confident working multi-agency, advocating for children’s needs with external professionals.

    - Passionate about creating real change—this is an opportunity to build something from the ground up.
