JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Program Director, Rehabilitation & Complex Continuing Care, and with accountability to the Program Chief and Medical Director of the Program, the Clinical Manager is an integral member of the Programs leadership team. The Clinical Manager will work closely with physician leads within the portfolio to ensure delivery of high-quality services that are effective and sustainable.
The Clinical Manager will hold responsibility for the programming and operations of a 41-bed Inpatient Rehab Unit located at the Mississauga Hospital and lead an interprofessional team. The Clinical Manager will maintain strong working relationships and engage in a strategic capacity with key partners internal and external to THP. In the clinical practice realm, the Clinical Manager has an integral role in supporting the professional practice development needs of these interprofessional teams and prove consultative services and clinical advice to the to the teams to enable them to deliver the highest quality, evidence informed services.
The successful candidate is a dynamic leader who has demonstrated a history of achieving results; is able to successfully lead a diverse, high-performing team to achieve excellence. They can think critically and strategically in a complex and fast-paced environment. Effective day-to-day management of the programs is essential and includes but is not limited to program operations and budget, human resource management, ongoing quality improvement, and regular effective contact and interactions with partners internal and external to the organization.
