Position Overview The Clinical Manager oversees programs to ensure compliance with The Emily Program's clinical philosophy, programming model, and professional standards. This role requires advanced clinical expertise and skills. The Clinical Manager provides leadership, supervision, and training to Inpatient and Residential staff, both clinically and administratively, and serves as a key member of the site leadership team. Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours Monday-Friday How Clinical Managers Empower Recovery Ensures the delivery of high-quality clinical services to clients and their families or support systems. Provides both administrative and clinical supervision, including conducting performance evaluations and discussions for direct reports. Participates in the recruitment, training, professional development, and retention of staff. Monitors group, individual, and family sessions, as well as clinical documentation, to assess quality and provide feedback and training to staff. Ensures program operations and care delivery align with the clinical model. Plays a key role in implementing and maintaining adherence to the Accanto Clinical Philosophy. Ensures compliance with program policies, procedures, external regulatory standards, and payer requirements. Oversees census, case assignments, group assignments, and the programming schedule. Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure effective functioning and achievement of client and program goals. Attends and/or facilitates all assigned meetings. Identifies staff training needs and collaborates with the National Coordinator of Clinical Training to meet those needs. Maintains clinical productivity in line with organizational and program expectations. Ensures clinical records are maintained in compliance with policies and regulatory standards. Completes all required documentation in accordance with Accanto policies and regulatory requirements. Provides or coordinates group, individual, and family therapy coverage as needed and may carry a clinical caseload. Participates in site-based and national quality assurance activities. Works with site leadership to address and manage client care and operational initiatives. Assists the Clinical Director or Executive Director (when applicable) in managing clinical and operational aspects of the site, including program implementation, staff training, accrediting body site visits, and systems development. Provides coverage for the Clinical or Executive Director when needed. Communicates with site and national clinical leadership about opportunities for clinical programming or curriculum enhancements. Stays updated on advancements in eating disorder assessment and treatment, best practices, and resources through professional development activities such as training, conferences, or reviewing academic literature. Maintains confidentiality of client health information, employee personal information, and proprietary company information as required by law and company policies. Participates in weekend rotations and on-call duties. Performs additional duties as assigned. Education/License Qualifications: Master’s degree in mental health related field required. Current independent licensure in the state of employment required. Professional Qualifications: Specialty in eating disorders treatment strongly preferred. Related supervisory/management experience strongly preferred. Other Qualifications: Employees at Residential or Inpatient sites must have a valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive. Employees at Residential or Inpatient sites are required to have a current Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. Employees at Residential or Inpatient sites are required to have a current First Aid certification within 30 days of hire. Employees at Residential or Inpatient sites in North Carolina or Georgia are required to have a current CPI certification within 30 days of hire. Employees at Residential site in Washington are required to have a Washington State Department of Health Food Handler permit within 30 days of hire.
