Responsibilities This position involves the coordination of clinical management of the vascular patient across the entire continuum of care. Manages and coordinates the vascular clinic and assures thorough patient evaluation and education for vascular procedures. Serves as a liaison for the vascular program and drives performance and improvement initiatives. Acts as a clinical resource and a role model for all areas caring for vascular patients. Acts as a community liaison on behalf of the vascular program and the hospital to promote awareness and education on vascular procedures. Collaborates in the development and delivery of care for the University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus Market Qualifications Job Requirements: Current RN license, BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in Cardiology, Critical Care, Cardiac Surgery or Emergency Department. Proven ability to follow protocol specific care delivery Preferred Job Requirements: Public speaking experience Interdisciplinary teamwork experience
