SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND ATTRIBUTES

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (NQ - 2 PQE).
• Experience in clinical negligence and personal injury matters.
• Ability to work as part of a team on high-value cases.
• Strong client management skills with a focus on delivering excellent client service.
• Highly organised with the ability to effectively prioritise workload.

• Working as part of a team on a caseload of high-value clinical negligence (and some personal injury) cases under supervision.
• Engaging directly with clients, taking instructions, and ensuring full understanding to meet client expectations.
• Collaborating with partners and senior lawyers to develop client relationship skills.
• Building a personal profile and attracting delegated work.
• Assisting with business development projects within the department.
• Researching and drafting articles and contributing to marketing materials.
• Developing a network of clients, contacts, and potential referrers; attending relevant networking events.
• Managing time recording, WIP monitoring, and billing consistently on files and matters.
• Contributing to fee forecasting.
• Working toward personal and team KPIs, measuring performance accordingly.
