YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and mentor a team of clinical professionals.
  • Strong clinical expertise in perioperative nursing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient- and team-focused approach.

You will also have the following:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Anaesthetics
  • Proven leadership experience within your speciality area and/or a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Step into a key leadership role within our Operating Theatre team. As a Clinical Nurse in Anaesthetics, you will work closely with the Assistant Director of Clinical Services to manage resources effectively and ensure the highest standards of patient care in line with policies, procedures, and best practice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a clinical and professional resource, demonstrating advanced knowledge across perioperative services.
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor staff to support professional growth and excellence in care delivery.
  • Partner with senior leaders, including the Assistant Director of Clinical Services, to ensure efficient operations.
  • Drive and actively contribute to Quality Improvement Programs aligned with organisational and departmental strategies.
  • Deliver safe, comprehensive, and patient-centred nursing care to achieve optimal outcomes.
