About the role Leave relief providing clinical leadership to nursing staff across the facility, advanced clinical management and coordination of vascular access care for all inpatient and community services. Required to work autonomously and engage in effective interdisciplinary collaboration with health care professionals. Insertion of Central Venous Access Devices. Provide expert skills in the care and management of CVADs including managing vascular access related complications. Monday to Wednesday - 24 hours per week. About you Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency. Minimum 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field. Approved postgraduate nursing/midwifery qualifications relevant to the field in which he/she/they are appointed or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney. Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a registered nurse. Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment.
