This position will be providing robust clinical leadership and assimilation of nursing home best practices amongst a multitude of post-acute, faith based, not for profit, Senior Life Plan communities. Minimum of three to five years’ experience in post-acute/senior care management, Director of Nursing, and/or consultation. Responsibilities Maintains and actively promotes effective communication with all individuals. Maintains a positive image of the entity in the community keeping in alignment with our mission, vision, and values. Maintains and actively promotes effective communication with all individuals. Creating a positive, collaborative work environment. Developing and implementing objectives, policies and procedures. Performs quality assessment audits and evaluation of care delivery, communicating results with Administration/Operations on the activities/issues of Nursing Services. Assists alignment of policy and procedures with standards of practice and regulations. Assists in nurse leadership performance evaluations and development. Assists in the development and integration of nursing practice employee safety, risk management and corporate compliance initiatives. Supports the development and integration of new and innovative nursing care initiatives. Performs on call and other duties, as assigned. Requirements Current license to practice in Wisconsin as a Registered Nurse. Minimum of three to five years’ experience in post-acute/senior care management, Director of Nursing, and/or consultation. Advanced knowledge and clinical skills around long term care.Commitment to quality outcomes and services for all individuals. Ability to relate well to all individuals. Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of information. Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions. Ability to adapt to change.
